Available Rebates

Rebates available for customers who heat with electricity or natural gas provided by Xcel Energy.

Air Sealing Rebate

Upgrade Requirements: Reduce CFM50 by at least 15%
Rebate: 40% of project cost up to $600

Attic Insulation Rebate

Upgrade Requirements: Pre-job r-value of 19 or less and a post-job r-value of 49 or greater
Rebate: 40% of project cost up to $1,200

Wall Insulation Rebate

Upgrade Requirements: Pre-job must be an empty wall cavity and post-job r-value of 11 or greater
Rebate: 40% of project cost up to $1,200

Available Rebates

Rebates available for customers who have Xcel Energy electricity with central air-conditioning and who heat with a fuel not provided by Xcel Energy.

Air Sealing Rebate

Upgrade Requirements: Reduce CFM50 by at least 15%
Rebate: 40% of project cost up to $45

Attic Insulation Rebate

Upgrade Requirements: Pre-job r-value of 19 or less and a post-job r-value of 49 or greater
Rebate: 40% of project cost up to $120

Wall Insulation Rebate

Upgrade Requirements: Pre-job must be an empty wall cavity and post-job r-value of 11 or greater
Rebate: 40% of project cost up to $75

Rebate Eligibility Requirements

You must be a residential, natural gas heating or electric heating customer in Minnesota to qualify for the highest rebate tier
Lower tier rebates are also available for Xcel Energy electric customers with central AC, who heat with a fuel not provided by us
Your home must be an existing single-family home or a multi-unit home up to four units
Insulation and/or air sealing measures must be installed by a current participating insulation contractor and according to the program requirements
