The Plugload, Advanced PowerStrip (APS) looks like a normal power strip, but has features designed to reduce the amount of energy used by many consumer electronics. The APS operates on the basic principle of shutting off the power supply to devices that are not in use. By replacing your standard power strip with a Plugload APS, you can cut the amount of electricity used by your home office and entertainment centre devices, and save money on your electric bill.
